MatchPay casinos

Four US-facing online casinos put MatchPay in their cashier: Bovada, Ignition, Slots.lv and Cafe Casino. With MatchPay you never pay the casino. You pay another player through PayPal, Venmo, Zelle, Apple Pay, Chime or Cash App, and their casino credit moves to your account. This page compares what each casino’s own help pages say about it, including the places where those pages contradict each other.

Casinos that accept MatchPay

We list a casino here only after reading MatchPay deposit and withdrawal instructions on its own help centre. The four share much of their help-centre wording, and the same operating companies turn up in more than one of their footers, so the useful differences are in the details: bonus rules, limits, sign-up steps and which states they refuse.

Bovada

The only one of the four with a sportsbook, and the longest list of banned states

Bovada’s casino, poker room and sportsbook share one account, and its help centre covers MatchPay deposits and withdrawals in detail. Its terms bar 19 states plus DC, and its MatchPay deposit page says bonuses, including the welcome bonus, do not apply to MatchPay deposits unless a bonus says otherwise.

Ignition Casino

The only one that says MatchPay deposits can claim the welcome bonus

Ignition’s MatchPay deposit page says MatchPay deposits are “currently eligible” for the Welcome Bonus, while the other three exclude them. Its deposit-limits table does not list MatchPay at all, and the welcome terms only describe a crypto rate and a card rate, so ask support which one a MatchPay deposit gets.

Slots.lv

A slots-first casino whose own MatchPay pages disagree on limits

Slots.lv puts MatchPay at the top of its deposit-limits table and lists its MatchPay withdrawal fee as “None.” Its best-practices page still quotes a $20 to $1,000 trade range against $10 to $2,000 everywhere else. The welcome offer excludes MatchPay deposits, but its Refer-a-Friend bonus does not.

Cafe Casino

A different sign-up flow, and a withdrawal note worth reading twice

Cafe Casino generates your MatchPay username for you and will reuse a MatchPay account you opened at another casino. Its withdrawal-limits note opens with “one withdrawal per seven days for all methods” before allowing two MatchPay withdrawals per day. Its welcome bonus lists the eligible deposit methods, and MatchPay is not one of them.

What makes a casino a “MatchPay casino”

MatchPay is not a payment processor and not a casino. Its help centre describes it as a “peer-to-peer credit trading marketplace that automatically matches buyers and sellers.” A casino that offers it has wired that marketplace into its cashier:

  • A deposit becomes an Order to buy another player’s casino credit. You send that player money through a payment app, they confirm it arrived, and the credit lands in your balance as US dollars.
  • A withdrawal becomes an Offer to sell your credit. Another player pays you through an app, you confirm the money is really there, and the credit moves to them.

So the casino never touches your bank or card. That is the appeal, and it is also the catch: you are paying, or being paid by, a stranger, and the payment apps were built for people who know each other. Bovada’s benefits page pitches MatchPay as a way to “avoid credit card restrictions,” which is worth reading with that in mind.

For the full flow, the trade clock and what to do when a trade stalls, read how to use MatchPay at a casino.

Which MatchPay casino fits what you want

None of these is “the best” for everyone. The differences that matter for MatchPay users are narrow and concrete:

Where the casinos’ own pages disagree

These four sites share a help-centre template, and the copies have drifted apart. Before you rely on a number, check it in your cashier, which the casinos themselves say is the final word.

What the cashier pages do not dwell on

Read these before your first trade

  • Your payment app’s rules still apply. PayPal’s Acceptable Use Policy requires pre-approval to accept payments for gambling, and Venmo’s user agreement prohibits “restricted transactions” under Federal Reserve Regulation GG, the federal rule on unlawful internet gambling.
  • MatchPay tells PayPal users to send as “Friends & Family” or “Gift,” which gives up purchase protection, and disputes are settled “at the sole discretion” of MatchPay support with “all resolutions” final.
  • Payments can be pulled back: Cash App’s terms let it reverse a payment it believes “should not have been made.”
  • The casinos are offshore. None holds a US state licence, and Michigan’s gaming regulator called Bovada.com and Bovada.lv “illegal online gaming sites” in 2024.

Other sites that list MatchPay

Ozoon (Canada). Ozoon, a Canadian-facing casino and sportsbook, has a MatchPay help page and lists MatchPay deposits and withdrawals of $10 to $3,000, with two withdrawals per 24 hours, in its deposit and withdrawal limits tables. It is aimed at Canadian players, not US ones, so it has no page here yet.

Brands we could not check. Some review sites say BetOnline added MatchPay in 2026. BetOnline’s site showed our automated browser a bot check instead of its banking pages, so we could not confirm it from the source, and we do not list it.

How this page was put together

On 4 October 2026 we read every MatchPay, limits, fees and bonus page each casino publishes, plus its terms of service, and took the logos and screenshots shown here from the casinos’ public sites. We made no deposits or trades: nothing here is a first-hand test, and every claim points to the page it came from. The methodology page has the details.
